Let me begin by saying that our experience with your company has been one of the best—if not the best—my wife and I have ever had with a construction/structural engineering company. From the very beginning, working with Krista Wright to the crews led by both Davids and Osman, every member of your team was professional, courteous, and highly informative. We especially appreciated the consistent, step-by-step updates provided throughout the entire process.
Krista was an absolute pleasure to work with. I’ve never had a project manager explain the process so clearly and understandably. She guided us through each phase—from the initial evaluation to the payment process—and gave us detailed information about each crew involved, including the structural engineers. She thoroughly explained the roles and responsibilities of everyone involved in lifting our home, which truly put us at ease.
What impressed us most, however, were the crews themselves. David’s crew—DeMarcus, Jorge, Isriel, and Bryan—were on-site throughout the four-day project. Osman’s crew—Chris, Anthony, Mike, and Ollie—were present for two of those days. Having had several previous experiences with construction companies, including a different foundation repair firm, we can confidently say that your teams far exceeded our expectations in every aspect.
Both crews took the time to explain the Risen technique being used to level the home and walked us through each step involved in preparing and installing the interior and exterior steel piers. They were flexible and able to adapt on the fly when project changes were needed.
When the interior portion of the work began, the team made sure all household items were properly covered and laid out protective floor tarps before starting. Throughout the project, they ensured every exposed hole was safely covered and communicated openly with us about progress and safety. At the end of each day, the crews completed a thorough cleanup, taking care to leave the site in excellent condition.
As we all know, construction inside a home can be incredibly messy, and in most cases, homeowners are left to handle the cleanup themselves. That was not the case here. The crews did such a great job that when I walked into the work area and asked my wife if she had already cleaned up, she said, “No—the crew did it.” We were genuinely impressed by their attention to detail and how clean they left the home after such major work.
Lastly—and perhaps most importantly—the steel pier lifting technique itself was extremely impressive to watch and understand. As the project progressed, our confidence in the leveling method only grew. We can truly say that we are extremely pleased with Risen Foundation’s process, organization, and above all, the outstanding individuals who worked on our home.
